A poorly fitted wheelchair can cause discomfort, pain and even injury to your skin and joints. A well fitted wheelchair should be comfortable and allow you to be positioned with your head and trunk well supported so you can breathe, eat and drink and interact with the world around you.

We offer a privately funded wheelchair assessment and prescription service. From basic wheelchairs to allow people to get out in the community – to highly specialized seating and wheelchair systems – we can help.  Our seating specialist can advise you on the best options and the best fit for you to self purchase, or inform you if you meet criteria for publicly funded (Enable) equipment.  Paying privately allows you to have your assessment in a timely manner, but you can still access the funding you are entitled to for the equipment.
