On the Go Physio operates in your home This can include a retirement village, a rest home or private hospital.

Visiting an individual in an aged residential care facility

As an individual you are welcome to contact On the Go Physio directly to assess and treat you. If you are in a rest home or hospital On the Go Physio will liaise with the nursing staff before and after visiting you as they have responsibility for your health care. Your physio treatment will usually need to be paid privately but we recommend you check this with your facility as some treatments may be covered.

Contracting to an aged residential care facility

On the Go Physio is happy to contract directly to an aged residential care facility and can offer any of the following options

• Physiotherapy assessment and treatment for individual clients including seating and wheelchair assessments
• Treatment as required as opposed to set weekly hours
• Supervision of employed Physiotherapy assistants
• Staff training in patient handling techniques
• Training of staff leading exercise groups
