Moving and Handling Training

Moving and handling training is an essential component of keeping staff and residents/clients safe and On the Go Physio are national leaders in this space.

Our trainers are involved in Moving and Handling Association of New Zealand (MHANZ) and our lead trainer has HASANZ status. We attend international conferences and work with our Australian and UK colleagues to ensure that our teaching is up to date an effective. With a strong background in working in aged care and the disability sector, we are able to ensure that our training reflects the real life situations that your staff face. We work closely with equipment suppliers to stay up to date and often collaborate with equipment suppliers to provide webinar and other professional support. 

Options for you include our three-day ‘train the trainer’ which can be delivered throughout Aotearoa New Zealand on demand. We also run bespoke modules taught in person directly to your workplace. 

On the Go Physio can also support your teams with training for non-clinical staff.
